Choose the opportunities your organization offers
Professional Shadowing
Supervised observation without productive work unless separately authorized.
Unpaid Educational Internships
Educational arrangements subject to applicable wage-and-hour rules and legal review.
Paid Internships
Paid, supervised positions with stated compensation, duties and schedules.
Employment
Part-time, full-time or other lawful positions with clear hiring requirements.
Green Card Sponsorship
Employers may indicate willingness to consider sponsoring qualified candidates for permanent employment-based immigration pathways.
Employer sponsorship responsibilities
Employment-based sponsorship is not automatic. Depending on the immigration category, an employer may need to provide a bona fide permanent job offer, meet prevailing-wage and recruitment requirements, obtain a labor certification, document ability to pay the offered wage, and file or support required immigration petitions. The specific requirements must be determined by qualified immigration counsel.
Employers are responsible for their sponsorship decisions and legally required employer costs. PERM-related employer recruitment and legal costs generally cannot be charged to the sponsored worker. THQS does not guarantee a green card, visa, employment authorization, immigration outcome or processing time.
